When I first met with Iona and Ryan, I knew right away they would be an absolute dream to work with. They were so warm & welcoming, and with their background in hospitality it was clear how important it was that everyone felt taken care of on their special day.
We chatted about Iona’s family background, with ties to Sri Lanka and Holland, and we wanted to incorporate those personal touches in to the florals. Iona’s dad even offered to grow some flowers in his garden for the wedding, including Hyacinths which I wired and used in the buttonholes and as a trailing bow in the bridal bouquet.
At the reception at Hampton Manor, the florals tied everything together perfectly. We decided to add tropical flowers like Heliconia to represent Iona’s childhood in Sri Lanka, along with tulips as a nod to her Dutch heritage, amongst a spring palette of seasonal blooms.
The guests were treated to a beautiful setting, delicious food & lots of love. The whole vibe was so warm & inviting & it was clear that Iona & Ryan had poured their hearts into every detail of the day
It was an absolute pleasure to have been a part of I & R’s day, and to have their full trust to create. meaningful and personal wedding florals.

“We used Ellis at Bush Floral Design for our wedding and she truly nailed it. The detail that was put into the preparation was top quality both in presentation form, through calls and in person, but we were the useless couple giving very little guidance on what we wanted, so in the end we asked Ellis to do it her way, within a budget and it was perfect. The bouquets were all great with little nods to my wife’s upbringing in Sri Lanka, the tables looked insane and finally Ellis agreed to use some of the flowers grown by my wife’s father who really enjoys growing them, so more personal touches were added with more nods to her Dutch side of the family. All in all, start to finish we couldn’t fault the company at all, it was personal, it was detailed, and it was executed extremely well. We would recommend to absolutely anyone”
